
Abdul Razak Ya’acob has more than 30 years of professional working experience holding several key management positions.
He began his early career in the Royal Malaysian Police Force serving in various positions and departments including a stint with the crack Special Action Squad.
In 1991, he took up a position as Administration Manager in a public-listed company in the food industry and he later became the Head of Logistic Operations. Subsequently, he moved to join another public-listed company in the automotive industry. In 1999, he was appointed the Head of Human Resource. In this capacity he was responsible for developing and managing a major change management programme when the company went through a period of divestment and business diversification.
Abdul Razak has 15 years of Facilitation and Consulting experience in the Practice of Knowledge Management (POKM), Human Capital Management, Strategic Management and Leadership.
He is a Certified JT Frank Global Facilitator and Consultant and an Honourable member of the Malaysian Emerging Knowledge Organisation (MEKO) Award 2007 Review Committee. He is also JT Frank Academy’s Chief Facilitator/Consultant for The Middle East Zone.
His research interests include Analysing the strategic roles of Human Capital Management in the Practice of Knowledge Management and Transforming enterprises into Knowledge-based Organisations.
Abdul Razak holds a post-graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management and a Master of Business Administration (HR Development and Management) from University of Florida,USA.
He is a qualified English Instructor having been awarded the International TEFL Teacher Training Certification, UK. He is also a Certified Professional Trainer with IPMA-UK.
Today he is one of the consultants for Mastermind Training Sdn Bhd, co-training with Jackson Ng in the course of Top Students Transformation Programme.
